This was RBC Royal Bank (1 800 ROYAL)

I got a call from this number 5 minutes after getting a call from 1-778-785-6230. But I'm not so sure this # is RBC. Sure I Googled the number, and the results came up with RBC in regards to the security of Client Cards. However, it states that the 2512 number is not the correct #. Either way, I am supremely ticked off!

This number continually calls our home, but never leaves a message. Calls at least once a day. If it had anything to do with credit card security, wouldn't it leave a message to call back???

This friggin number calls my phone at least 2 to 3 times per day. I refuse to answer it because I haven't had anything to do with the RBC for 4 years & I had totally different phone numbers. Why hasn't RBC done something about these very HARRASSING phone calls? I called them to inquire about this & all they cared about is getting my personal info. I hung up on them. Why is there no monitoring or protection for us (the public)??? Next one I'm answering all right & telling them to F--- Off !!

numerous calls on my cellphone and probably home phone as well but doesn't leave a message.Usually calls during work hours so I'm not able to answer anyway.Though if they call and I'm able to answer I will be able to gauge if they are a scam and update info accordingly

So this is pretty stupid:I've been getting a few calls each day for the past week or so from this number. I did google it previously, and it did show up some RBC pages and such.I finally had enough today though, so was gonna deal with this.Turns out the number IS RBC. At first I was going to look for an official number, then I realized that the number on the back of my card is the same number that phoned me...Anyways, I phoned them, thinking maybe it's fraudulent activity on my card. After reaching operator, the guy's like "Oh! It's nothing bad, no fraud or anything. Just wanted to let you know you are on good standing and could increase your credit limit."ARE YOU SERIOUS!? I don't need to be harassed by a call just for them to let me know I can increase my limit. Thanks, but no thanks RBC.

Everything as described above is exactly what happened to me too.I eventually called back to see if they were trying to contact for a legitamite reason. The number is for their credit card services. Turns out they wanted to sell me invenstment packages. Told the representative that I wanted to be removed from any sales calls.

I got ten calls from this number today. Way to generate hostility.

Received calls every evening from this number so I looked it up. They never left a message, and I never picked up. I called them back tonight and it was pretty easy - just had them put on 'no soliciting'. So in summary - it's to do with RBC, probably with special offers. No need to get mad, just call them and tell them you do not want to receive any calls.

I Received a call from this site saying they were with Visa and Mastercard. I asked which bank they were affiliated with and was told CIBC, I confused them, they hung up on me.
