Calling two times everyday with no messages.

Received a call from this number. Answered the line and the "representative" George said he was calling from Visa/MasterCard. I asked him what bank my Visa was with. He said TD, called him out and said we don't have TD, he then said Royal Bank/CIBC and when I called him out that those were two different banks, he would say "I didn't say that, when did I say that?". I knew that he was a scammer at that point, but had some fun with him. I told him I would be contacting RBC and he told me not to do that, but rather call him on his personal cell phone. What a joke.

My elderly mother has received 3 calls in the last 2 days supposedly from Royal Bank. Woman with heavy French accent said because she pays her Visa on time they are giving her a lower interest rate (that in itself is an indication it's not Royal Bank). Mom finally got a word in saying her daughter looks after everything and asked for the woman's name and number. She replied it was Mary Martin and gave the real RBC phone number. I called and they confirmed a) they wouldn't call regarding that. If they were giving a lower interest rate it would be a notification by letter and b) they wouldn't give a name like she did.SCAM BEWARE.

They call 2 or 3 time's a day

I just got a call from this number, but because there was no RBC ( unavailable) ID, I usually don't talk to unidentified callers. If it is real RBC, they should have proper ID, not to let us guessing if it's legit call or not. Besides, I talked to my bank yesterday and I know the story already. I'll get new Visa in the mail.

I get an average of two calls a day from this number. No messages just calls. Very annoying since my cell rings at work. I never answer unknown numbers and I can't block it.

Okay, good! I was worried about that too, but I just received a letter in my mail about increasing my credit limit. Thanks for clearing this up! I was very concerned but didn't want to answer a call from a number I wasn't sure was RBC

they called today and did not leave a message. I called them back and found out that they are truly RBC Credit Card Services. Reason they don't leave message is by the law of Privacy ( regarding your financial issue, some people don't want their family, spouse to know about that they have a credit card ). So they WILL NOT leave messages.They call with a reason about your existing RBC credit card. Either regarding a suspicious payment, a credit increase, or changing of a card type etc.Make it short, they are light. They are RBC, not a scam.
