They were calling to let me know i had a late payment on my ring from robbins bros.

I've received two recorded messages from TD Banknorth saying "it is very important that you call us about your account at 800-806-8840". The first time I called the 800 # and they asked for my account number, I said I don't have it, they asked for my social security #, I said, "no way." I questioned who they really were and was told to watch for something coming in the mail. The second time I found TD Bank's direct number and they verified I have no account and they are not trying to reach me. I haven't had an account there in many years. And TD Banknorth is now TD Bank. I'm going to report the calls to my Secretary of State's office.

It was a legitimate call. I just gave them my phone number and they told me which card it was. It turned out to be a card my wife rarely uses but used and she missed her payment. They did not ask for payment over the phone.

Received call stated it was regarding personal account for my husband for an account through TD Bank, which we do not have. He was to return his call at 800-806-8840, when returning a phone call asked for account number, which we did not have. Then he would not release any information and provided me with a head quarter number 211-818-4000, which is disconnected. Also, explained to him that the number is a scam, he disagreed. Then I called the actual TD Bank, in which they have no record of the either number to call provided to me. Along with we have no account with them.MAJOR SCAM!!!!! Glad I caught it and called them back to let them know they are running a SCAM!!!

this wasn't a scam for me. they were calling to tell me that there was a past due balance on my rooms to go credit card. glad i called back.

Got a call from this number today asking for my son. They said it was account servicing but would not tell me about what. They indicated it was an important call about his account. I gave the number to my son and he called but it just rang and rang. No answer. We are assuming it is a scam as well.

I received a call today from a 201-818-4000 a recording claiming that they are with TD Bank and that they have an urgent buisiness matter to discuss, and left 800-806-8840 as a call back number. I DON'T have any accounts with TD Bank and called their customer service number on the official website to question if this is one of their numbers. And of course they said NO...BIG SCAM!!!

Had a message left saying need to contact me at 1-800-806-8840 incoming call was from 201-818-4000 and 602-385-1605 Asking for account # ssn ect scam scam scam called TD Bank and reported it. I have never had an account with them.

Phone Number Incoming: 201-818-4000 I blocked this number on my cell phone. They still managed to leave a voicemail message. They wanted me to call 800-806-8840. Recorded message "It is important to call this number 800-806-8840. Office hours 8-8 Monday - Thursday 8 -5 Friday 12 - 5 Saturday & Sunday." They have called me everyday 4 times a day. Just called them & they immediately asked for my acct. # . They did not identify themselves. After I told them I turned them into the Better Business Bureau & looked up the number on line, the girl then asked me for my phone #. I told her I was not going to give her any information over the phone. I, then, asked her the purpose of the call & to identify the co. She said she was with a bank....no name. She then promptly hung up.

Received a call from 800-806-8840, on my work phone VM, stating "Hi My name is Rosa and I am with TD Bank. I need you to call me, it is a personal matter." So I called the number she left, and it just kept repeating saying that a rep will be with you; over and over, which seems sketchy I went a head and Called TD bank and they said it could be a scam. I called the number back and this time someone answered and asked me for my account number and I said, you called me, I don't even know who you are with! The guy then said we are a retail credit service provider for multiple companies. So he asked for the number that was called and he couldn't find it, then he asked me for my first and last name and he found me in the system and it was for my Stihl account. The call was legit.
