UPS billing

SCAM. This is a FAKE billing company using UPS logos and Invoices. I received a FAKE INVOICE today and promptly googled the telephone number listed. It looks like a legitimate UPS bill, only I don't use UPS, and if I did, I would pay at the store the moment I sent anything.I packed up the fake invoice with the fake 800-811-1648 number listed and sent it to the Carol Stream, IL police department. If you get a fake invoice, the payment address is in Carol Stream, IL. I received a call from 864-213-8500, they left a message claiming to be from UPS and wanted to know more about our company so they could serve us better...I do not have a company so this is obviously a scam. Two days later I get a fake UPS invoice in the mail for $10.19 with the number 800-811-1648 which turned out to be fake also.

800-811-1648 IS the UPS number for billing queries.I received an invoice for a shipment that was nothing to do with me. The UPS guy told me it was an error on their part... they billed a shipment to wrong account, in this case one that was in my name. He resolved it by transferring the charge to the correct account.IOW, in my case it does not seem to be a scam, but a billing error, and easily fixed.

It is the ups billing dep phone number. I had the same problem that sue had, we called in to the 800-811-1648 and they told us it was an account charge error and they will fix it, they did not ask for any credit card information. We called another 1-800 number from the ups.com website and asked the rep and he gave us the billing dep phone number which is this number-1-800-811-1648.

We called and got UPS billing. This was an error in imputing our account number on someone elses bill.

UPS billing number. I received an invoice from them with this number. It's the real deal.
