say they are a collecting agencies ,but do not elaborat .and ask for my adress and date of birth.
Yes, I only have one outstanding bill. This has happened recently. This has been taken care of. These people have been calling before. They call from a hospital that I didn't attend. They never leave the person's name. I think someone used my phone number. I never answer because I feel this is fraud and they are trying to collect on old debts also. Warning, please do not give out any info on phone. Ask for their physical address.
Voicemail transcript: "Hello, we are calling from credit on behalf of this is a call from a debt collector please return our call at 800-823-2318 Monday through Friday during normal business hours."Notice, they didn't name the company they were calling 'on behalf of'.BLOCKED
I never answer unknown callers. Looked this site up on internet. Must be a scam because I have no unpaid medical bills.
The same thing happened to me this morning, and asked them the reason they were calling me and he said due to HIPPA they can't say until they get my information, NO THANK YOU! I wanted to believe them since I just had surgery 3 weeks ago BUT I have to be careful with my identity and called the hospital patient advocate fininacials myself!
When this caller, called me they asked if they could speak to David Stewart I asked them who they where and they said medicredit, I then asked what was there reason for wanting to speak to Mr.Stewart, they then asked again was this Mr. Stewart I then asked them to not call this number again.
Medical debt collector called Medicredit. Very polite, And a family member did have an unpaid bill, which I paid. If they're calling you, you probably have an unpaid bill. Not Scammers. Not solicitors.
This number is a scam call and continuously calls my number.

I didn't accept the call and they did not leave any voice message
I answered this one out of curiosity as I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Another annoying robocall. This time claiming to be calling from Medicare.
Would give it zero stars if I could.
Because I didn't know who the caller was, I sent it to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message and hung up. I assumed it was another robo call and when I checked this site my assumption was confirmed.
said dish was updating receivers and needed for us to turn on dish for 2 minutes to do updates. told them to call back tomorrow.
