I am NOT the one hanging up on you. It's the auto-dialer--hanging up on me will NOT solve your problem. If you want to know who is calling or have your number placed on the Do Not Call list, you must tell her your phone number. This is a switchboard, and I have NO information about you at all.
The note from annoyed person is dead on: calls from 801-257-6155 are from "Teleperformance" emergency contact is 801-510-9450, the phone is answered. The number for the company is 801-257-5800.I called and asked to be removed, and explained my annoyance - as others have reported - I got tired of daily multi calls from them. When I began answering the phone, no one answered. It would be nice if someone could legally post their number and clog up their lines.
We have had the same experience from this number. Only the names that called were Stephanie and Melissa as managers calling on behalf of Mary Olson their employee in Augusta. Only Stephanie called from the 801 number and said that it too was a cellular phone. This is a case of fraud. The company may be real, but the players are not. Call the police because you are about to be scammed.
We receive more "garbage" phone calls each day than from friends and family. This Teleperformance company ranks right up there with the most annoying. Received a call from them again today ( they did not answer when I picked up). I yearn for a phone system that would allow you to selectively block out unwanted incoming calls. Wouldn't that be nice!It probably will never happen but the thought of it delights me.
keep getting calls from this #. I do not answer cause I know it is a scam. When my machine picks up they hang up. Someone needs to have these scammers stopped.
Received many calls from this number since cancelling my BofA credit card. Today I answered and listened to a 3 minute speech about a long list of benefits that BofA was going to be arranging for me as part of a credit protection program. After a few questions, it became clear that this was an attempt to reopen my account. The caller ("Alan") was pleasant enough, and just doing his job, so I really don't blame him. The companies involved, are another matter entirely. I'm sure that BofA and other companies believe they've gotten permission to have their business partners or surrogates contact us, in their contractual fine print or changes to terms and conditions or somesuch. Another key to what is going on is the use of automated dialing. When an agent finishes one call, the machine autodials a set of new numbers and selects one of those who answer for their agent to dialog with. The rest of the calls are summarily disconnected. Customers of Interval International are also familiar with this technique, as that company calls and hangs up frequently when trying to reach customers with pending requests, in order to persuade them to accept alternative resorts (i.e., dumping lower-quality inventory). In fact, they even document each attempt as proof of their great service. The jaded disregard for their customers is apalling. THIS automated carpet bombing of customers ought to be made illegal.
I got a call from this number on my cell phone and it was from the cheesecake factory for an order i placed
