Teleperformance USA provides telephone services for so many companies, these could be companies you are customers of, could be sales calls, could be follow ups from different customer service departments...Don't worry, be happy.
The company is called Teleperformance. They are working on behalf of Bank of America (and other companies) to sell certain products and services. I spoke with a representative today (who was very polite and professional), told her I was not interested in the service that BofA would like to offer. She said thank you and before she hung up, I asked that they not call back and to please remove my number from their list. I went on to the "Do Not Call" registry website and learned that if you ask a caller (with whom you conduct business) not to call you, they must abide by your wishes. I would suggest answering the call next time and ask them to remove your number (they will not ask for your name) from their list.

Teleperformance calls on behalf of several comapnies. If you already do business with a company (for example, AT&T), we can call you. If you want your number put on our Do Not Call list, you need to call 801-257-6155 and tell the rep your number. You are calling a switchboard, and the rep has no information about you. If you tell her your number, she will remove it. It can take up to 48 hours, but it WILL BE REMOVED. The rep did not call you--how could she, when she answers the phone all day?
CALL CONSTANTLY. WHEN I ANSWER GET DISCONNECT. THEY SHOULD HAVE THEIR PHONE DISCONNECTED AT THE VERY LEAST FOR HARASSING SENIOR CITIZENS. IF IT IS INDEED BANK OF AMERICA THEN WE SHOULD ALL STOP MAKING OUR CARD PAYMENTS.
oh and they DO have a page where you can ask them to remove your number. it's called the DO NOT CALL request. i just did it. so, that is a record i told them to stop. if they don't i will simply call the attorney general's office, again!
This number calls my office phone several times a week but it's usually after hours. I can hear people talking in the background and one girl Sandra from Vonage. I think she's in customer service and instead of taking calls she's hanging out in my voicemail. I can hear her act like she's talking to customers!
