This caller has been asking for me by name to participate in a political opinion survey. I added them to my VOIP provider's "block list". This apparently this new breed of political caller can get through anyway. Even though they are blocked!!

I asked her what country she was from.

I just got a call for the 2nd day in a row. I answered, they did not. I looked the number up on my call log and then I called it. I got a recording. "Thank you for calling OPINIONOLOGY" They are a consumer survey and marketing group. Then came the instructions on how to get them to stop calling:1. Logon to: www.opinionology.com2. On the upper right part of the screen is a button that reads "Information and phone number opt-out options here" Click on that button.3. This message appears" We appreciate your participation in our research and we value your opinion. But if you do not want to participate in the future, we of course understand and respect your decision. To opt-out, please email us at contact@opinionology.com to be placed on our no-contact list and include the phone number in the body of the email. 4. Follow those instructions.

Hi, I know this post is from a couple of years ago, but I currently am employed as a call center agent at SSI. Now hear me out please, I know these calls are annoying but we are given a list of numbers from the public voter registry, all we have is your number and no other information other than what political party you are affiliated with (most of our surveys are political in nature) and the county you live in. Other than that, we get all information from you. Survey companies, by law, do not have to abide by the National Do Not Call Registry (only applies to telemarketers), but we do maintain an internal "Do Not Call" list but that takes 36 hours to update and during the call you have to SPECIFY that you want to be put on the do not call list and we will happily do that for you. Before any of you say how you want to kill all of us who are doing these surveys, I hope you know we work minimum wage and have mouths to feed. We understand the disturbance because we get those calls as well but from other survey companies, please be patient with us and just say you want to be on the do not call list.Thanks :)

Received a call as well. I called 801-373-7735 and had the number removed. Its automated. You dont have to speak to anyone.

I paid off my moms T-Mobile bill & helped her close the account. Within a day or two after doing this, I started receiving calls from this number, but never answered. I never used T-Mobile, never will, but because I put this on my Visa & left my contact info, now I'm getting calls. Oh well, I have a call blocker, where I have blocked this number & any number starting with 801-823.

I got the same thing? Is it the same person?
