Have asked multiple times to be removed from call list. They hang up every time. Tonight they called after 9pm. No one was on the line for over 30 seconds when I answered. Advised that it's after 9pm on a weekday and the woman said "Oh, ok" and hung up. Reported to the do not call registry. Have been on the list over 6 years.
801-823-2021 repeatedly calls my cell and there is no one there. I tried dialing back and got a 'number not working' and the next time I got nothing. These calls cost me money since I have a limited use line.
Received a phone call from 801.823.2021 today. Left a message and asked for me by name but did not call back/
These people call every couple of days at random times. They never leave any kind of message. I'm on the "Do Not Call" registry but that doesn't matter apparently.
They called an elderly friend of mine at 1am, three times. Survey question.....are you the only person at home right now? Scared her to death, as her husband just passed and she was alone. I am reporting them to her phone company, and will be contacting them also.
Keep calling at all hours. Some research company wanting opinions. Based out of Ogden Utah
You probably work for them. Let them call you, I am not interested or I wouldn't be on the no-call list. That includes calls from bozos like this. No calls means no calls.
Even of you only read the first few lines of my post, take it to heart, please! Whatever you do, DO NOT call them back!!! At this point, most people are wary of cold call surveys and I've noticed a new tactic. No message, a hang up. You call back, maybe they have the same area code...now they have your info. Even if you don't have your name on Caller ID, they know the number is real. You will receive more calls, from al kinds of these idiots! It's not just an issue of annoyance, they're profiling you. At some point, one of these companies that buy numbers of real people may be something more subversive. Then they'll let you talk to a real person, whom you've been told is in some type of authority position... They are sympathetic, they want to know your name. Your address, for "confirmation", or whatever. I'm not saying that I fell for it, but at some point in my 14 years of being an adult, I gave someone something of value. Probably more like I gave several of these jerks just a little bit and when they sell whatever they got from the phone calls, a larger picture is created. Fast forward....I'm now 33, and struggling to prove my identity. Not only do these idiots feed their "data" into larger companies eventually, those large "reputable" companies are akin to "public record". So now, my credit reports are a hot mess, I can't buy sudafed for my sick child and when I applied for a new job, they said that my information didn't match what was on "file". This all has to do with the "verification" questions you're asked. After a month of trying to figure out where the erroneous data came from, I find out that it basically comes down to both the man who had my old phone number after I changed it and the people who bought my house. I have now been lumped in with their "data" and because I have no idea when they bought a car or what county they lived in at some random date, I can't prove that I'm me. Well, I can, but it takes a whole lot of hassle and getting the credit report thing fixed is a nightmare. So is trying to prove it to the gov in instances that you SSN, name and address don't match up. "Hassle" is putting it lightly, because no one answers their phones. Trying to get all agencies involved and on the same page is the true nightmare. I've had problems for years, 6 years ago I had my tax refund intercepted- close to 5K. And because no one could "prove" I didn't work at those places (everything in the data purchasers database said I did) and because no one in this Large a** company knew anyone, they went off of records only. How do you prove you didn't live somewhere when anyone can easily maintain a few addresses? Yes, it's ID theft but I've been struggling with it to the point where I have no faith in any of these so-called "confidential" organizations. Even posting on here, the site knows where you are...not me, I have to purposely take precautions against that now. Can't just log on. My daughter called this 801 number back because she has a friend who lives in Utah. You are only directed to visit the website. I looked up the number and found the contact info for "SSI" in the US. I called and there was an option, #2, to be removed from the list. BS. Who knows what that does...So, it said to press "0" for other... I did that and was directed to a VM service, extension 4734. They try to sound very "verizon" with the wording and manipulation of voice, but its all shady. Anyway, because of my problems, my phones are monitored. So they screwed up there. Just DO NOT call them back, whatever you do.
