They keep calling and asking to speak to a reviewed voter. I hate that. So I asked her what she was wearing. In detail... she hung up
I have been getting a phone call every night fro801-823-2023 and tonight they claim to be with SSI. I tried to call it back and surprise surprise the call couldn't be completed.
OK..... as my handle says..... i am deaf, no can use phone let alone a cell phonei got a call (i have no telephone, just the phone service to use for my computer and a caller id box) from them. who knows what they want.... come to think of it, who cares!
Old white guy claiming to be calling from "Googleyoutube" tried to scam me into giving him personal information claiming i could ~possibly be entered to participate in a survey later and get 100 bucks~.Google would never, NEVER call people. They are a massive INTERNET based company and would more than likely just post something on the front page of youtube if they wanted you to do a survey.
Got a call from this number on 6/25/2011 a Saturday at 4:00 P.M. Some Lady looking to speak to a registered voter. I said look we are not interested and we are on the do not call registry. So please don't here again. Well Sunday the very next evening. They call again at 9:00 P.M. on a Sunday Evening. This time I tell them : Stop calling my home phone you have been reported to The FTC. You keep calling people when they tell you to stop and that they are on the do not call registry. Lots of complaints have been filed against you. SO STOP CALLING !! THAT IS WHY SOME OF US CHOOSE TO LIVE WITHOUT A PHONE CAUSE WE THE PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO BE BOTHERED ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT WITH NON SENSE.THANK YOU !!Then I slammed the phone down and dialed up my call blocker service which if you are an AT&T customer and have a land line with AT&T #80 is your call blocker service and you can list 10 numbers to block from calling your telephone line. When a caller is blocked and they call they get a message that the number they reached no longer accepts phone calls. Please try again. LOL....Love AT&T for this service. I just wish you could put more then 10 numbers in the block list. Cause I have more then 10 telemarketing numbers calling my phone line. Even with being on the Do not call registry. Another Great service AT&T has provided is Privacy Manager. No more blocked numbers are able to call my home phone line. Love it.
I'm retired so have some free time on my hands. What I try to do is scam the scammers. I do one of two things. First is to pretend I can't hear too well and I'm a little nuts. I answer the phone and listen to their various lies and when they are done I say "I'm sorry I didn't hear what you said can you repeat it please." After doing this 2 or 3 times I then pretend I did not understand a word they said. If they are selling solar panels I tell them “I’m sorry I don't need a new fence." Then I start to say crazy routine and say things like "Did you hear that? I think my wife is listening to my calls again. Just a minute please." I put the phone down, wait a few minutes and then bang a newspaper on the table. I then pick up the phone and say "That's the last time she'll ever do that! Don't tell anyone you heard that shot please". Then I ask them "I'm sorry what were you calling about?" The whole goal here is to waste as much of their time as possible. They usually never call me back. Second I give them all the information they ask for including account numbers, bank, name, address, ss#, etc. The only problem is I make up all the information (keep a note next to the phone with the phony info). I can almost hear the cash register in their tiny little brains ringing up sales!!! I try to keep them on the line as long as possible by asking a lot of silly questions and then say "I'm sorry I think I gave you the wrong account number. Can you read that back to me?" I then say "No this is the correct number" and then give them another number and ask them to read it back again. I do this several times. I then go into my crazy routine. Sometimes I'll tell them I have to go out to the car to get my information and ask them to wait. One time I actually made myself a sandwich and a drink, went out and got the mail and came back (must have been 10 minutes) and the idiot was still on the phone. The whole idea is make them waste their time so get creative people!!! You may have as much fun as I do thinking up things to do.
My number is registered on the NO CALL LIST...I have received calls from801-823-2023 on June 25th 1:51 PM PDT, June 25th 6:04 PM PDT, and today,June 27th 6:30 PM PDT.
They called me five times. I answered the 5th time & she said she was calling on behalf of Google & was looking for an adult. I asked her to stop calling (as I had children sleeping)!! She then had the nerve to call again, said she wasn't selling anything & asked for me by name. This # is not registered to me for anyone so not sure how they got it. Last call was at 9:35pm!!!

I have received calls from 1-801 823 2023 several times a day for the past week. Last call was after 10:00 pm. I told the person that they were calling too late and that I was on the no call list but they went ahead insisting that they had an important survey and needed my participation. I refused but they called once more.
