Your posting drips of anger and ignorance. Obviously you don't understand what cancer you have or the reasons and need for the chemotherapy. They're trying to help you, prolong your life and they do deserve to get paid for their services, just like you get paid for working at your job, assuming you ever had a job. Go ahead, don't get your chemo and whatever else is recommended, no one is forcing you, but don't [***] when you enter the advanced stages of your malignancy and nothing can be done. You are a stupid, ignorant moron and your posting proves it.
If our overpaid government was even remotely competent they would do something to find these criminals and prosecute them. The "do not call" list is a joke and, even though we report every one of these criminal calls, nothing is done about it. You can't convince people that they couldn't track these scammers down. The calls come from a phone which is duly paid for in some way so should be traceable. After all, the government tracks our email, phone and mail.
You are absolutely right! The DNC is a Big Joke! I also personally believe that the law against murdering people is a big joke also. I mean, what the heck, people still kill people right? And come to think of it, all the other laws on the books are all big jokes also. I mean people still break them right? So here's what we need to do. Let us all get a hold of our representatives, whether at city, state, or federal level and tell them that since people are violating these laws, they are a big joke, and we should abolish all laws. Period. No more laws on the books. That will fix things, because then people won't be breaking the law any more, and the law will no longer be a big joke. Wow, you are brilliant, why didn't I think of that? I think we should give you a Nobel Prize for solving this bad situation for us.
07/13/2015, 01:00 pm. Received a call from "unknown" but answered any way. Female, with a heavy accent. She knew I had Medicare. She asked if I had any pain any where, my back, knee, neck. She represents a company who will get you the help you need for those types of medical braces. I told her I had no pain and didn't need any braces. She didn't believe me. I hung up on her. I tried to call the number back and got a recording, "Sorry, your call cannot be completed".
You are the one displaying the ignorance--offering a prognosis on someone you have never met! Idiot!
I never answer any calls that come in as city/state on the caller ID (100% scam calls), plus others like most 800-type numbers (99% scam calls or debt collectors looking for someone that doesn't live with me), all that have a "name" of some sort but are obvious scam calls (carpet cleaners, duct cleaners, finance anything, etc.), all survey callers (98% scam calls or political orgs, etc.), and any with illegally constructed telephone numbers (100% scam calls). But I do add them to my blocked number list on my home phone handset. The phone set I have (Panasonic) allows for 250 numbers to be blocked and I've already blocked over 90.And I NEVER call any numbers back unless I KNOW exactly who I am calling. Most are spoofed numbers that won't work, some want to collect numbers where people call back so they can sell the list to other scammers, and many scam calls come in from outside the country and if you call them back you WILL BE CHARGED for calling a foreign country!
We have received at least one call from this number. My dad answers, but hangs up right away, so I don't know what they say when they call. I just know this isn't anyone we know, and I want them to stop calling my elderly parents, who I live with and am caregiver for.
