I just got a call from this no. and a man with Russian accent asked for information about my kid. I refused and upon googling, found this. He said he was from wellcare and asked about my kid's birthdate. I hung up. Bizarre !
I have WellCare some new tracking system they're doing. They r soliciting me & harassing me every week. I asked them to cease & desist communicating to me on this line. They said there's no do not call list([***]) & they say they have the right to call about offers. Sounds like there breaking amendment laws too when they talk like that. Or maybe someone higher up is ordering them to do this with people. What is WellCare the new nazi police. It's time for people to go public & speak out against this piracy. To watch evil and do nothing is evil itself. Stand up for your right to live in peace, to not be monitored..to not be harassed. This is illegal activity...keep talking about online in public. Report all over the net on blogs & here. Let ppl knw until they stop. I am a single mom and do not have time for WellCare or Obama care tracking system prying into my business. Hitler use to go up to people asking them things pretending to be there to help, than at the end look what he did...hmmmm
I answered this call today. She asked for my hubby. Told her he's not available. She said "I'm calling from his insurance company". I said "WellCare?" She said "I can't give that out to you due to regulations". She insisted that I go get him. I told her when WellCare calls they always tell me who they are and the company name. She started to say "yes, this is Well..." but I cut her off. Told her to go call someone else. If this woman is really from WellCare, why did the caller ID say "Traci L. Walker"? And the woman who talked when I answered gave me a different name (but I got so ticked off at her I forget what she said.).
Three voicemails: 6/2/14, 6/4/14, 6/6/14. "This is Rosalie from WellCare Florida calling with some important information about your child Jane Doe. Please call me back at 866-798-2394"
I just received 5 calls within 3 minutes from 813-290-6200. I didnt answer bc I don't know anyone in Florida, and i don't answer calls I don't recognize. They didn't leave a message and Well Care is NOT my insurance provider. I actually have State provided health care from Harmony. Idk what their deal is but f**k them. What kind of company calls a person repeatedly like that?!?
It was my insurance company. The lady who left a message was so foreign I couldn't understand. my insurance doesn't use wellcare but staywell. Found out they are the same.
Got a call from this number saying he's from family care with a heavy British accent. Nj family care has a different phone number, if you're with wellcare why not just state "this is wellcare" and then the guy said to call 8884532534, & gave left a reference number. When I looked up the 888 # it's results were all with chinese or Japanese symbols, it doesn't look or sound too legit to me when this is the only page I can find stating who they are. I had wellcare but I recently switched companies because they are a nightmare to deal With! I don't give private info over the phone and If I can't find a legitimate website with the number that called me & or the number im given to call back, im obviously not going to return the call.
Turns out, it is Well Care and they wanted to assist with setting up my Female Wellness Checkup. They called my Dr.s office and we had a three way call to set up an appointment. It seems to be a courtesy service and is in line with the purpose of national healthcare, to save lives and keep everyone as healthy as possible with preventative health care.
BEWARE! I received a call from this number on Sunday, February 8, at 8:28 a.m. while I was dressing for church. The caller questioned if I was Lavina Ross (my legal name). When I said, "Yes," a woman with a very soft voice asked if I would "verify my birthdate." I hung up.At 9:36 a.m., less than one hour later, I received another call from the same number. Because I was in church and the phone in my car, I did not answer.Less than one hour after that, at 10:21 a.m., when I am still in church and the phone still in the car, another call from the same number arrives--and leaves a voicemail. The voicemail caller says she is from WellCare (my prescription drug insurance company) and that she is calling regarding a claim I recently filed about them (which I did do), She leaves a call-back number--which, interestingly, is NOT the number she called from. She also gives a confirmation number for my claim--and instructs that I can call back between the hours of 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. I strongly suspect that my insurance company's business hours are not 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.--particularly on a Sunday. The story gets better. When I attempt to listen to the voicemail a second time, it has miraculously disappeared! Even though I did not delete it. And even though a voicemail has never disappeared from this phone before until I specifically instructed it to do so.So I google 813-290-6200. And find that it IS for WellCare. But I still don't believe it. So I scroll down and find this site as well.Thank you for it!I hope someone investigates this further.Lynn Ross
