every time i answer no one is there. i say hello and they wait a couple of seconds and then hang up. i have tried calling the number back quite a few times and all i ever have gotten is a busy tone.
One of my favorites is to answer the phone with "city morgue". If the person on the other end wants to play along & ask for myself or my spouse, my next response is "hang on, let me go check the toe tags" and I set the phone down. For some reason, this seems to stop them from calling my number again. Too bad because I don't get tired of this game very easily...

Caller wanted personal information and claimed to be from some credit company that does not exist.

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
