Got this email today. Had a couple of run ins and even had him send drawings from other shops when I asked him for more info and drawings. I was aware that it was a scam but wanted to make him work a little before I turned him down. Talked to one of my peers in Oregon after receiving his drawings and he informed me they where about to start fabrication. I warned him not to do it and let him on to the way it works. The product is not what they are after, they use stolen CC's to order the product. You will get the money but it will be taken back when it is reported. They actually are after the money that you pay the shipper. They want you to pay the fake shipper using your funds... they are the fake shipper... they get your money. I feel terrible for guys that spend money on material and labor then pay the [***]. You are out your money for material, money for labor and the money you payed him. It is a complete fraud , he tried to do the same thing to our company. Except he used a different name Paul Andrews, then try to use a womans credit card Carol Owings. Then he will e mail you saying that the woman wants to purchase the items since they are partners. You will never receive an email from Carol and it is always coming from Paul. I decided to check to the billing address for the card and the house just happens to be up for sale. I called mastercard as well and it checked out too. But of course it will check out it is probably stolen or a fake. Anyways I did not process the order. But here is when I knew it was a fraud when he asked me to use the shipping company Baltic Ocean limited to ship it to ship it to Iceland. The e mail for the shipping comapany is Daniel Garry [belticoccean@hotmail.com]. This e mail is legit of course, but there is no company address no phone number and most of all no signature on the email. I googled this company and I found out that there isnt such a company. I found something similar in wikipedia, and it mentioned that this company has been bankrupt since 1996. Please note when I called this number, it is a magic jack number and the person that answers the phone has an accent. I cant determine what accent it is but you will be able to distinguish that he has one. If this is the person that answers, then beware.

So I called agin and this guy finally answered the phone. I asked if I could speak to the owner of the credit card ,Carol Owings, he told me to hold on. Then he asked someone a question pretending to look for Mrs. Owings and just told me that she was picking up her kids from school at 9:10 am in the morning.Why would you need to pick up your kids at 9:10 in the morning, shouldnt you be dropping them off. Anyways I asked for location of thier store and he just hung up trying to avoid the question. Please be careful of this fraud. When something smells a little fishy, you should dig a little bit then the pieces just come together. No company name, no phone number, no address, fake shipping company name, billing adress for credit card is up for sale, these are all signs of attmepted fraud and theft in the making.

They have given us to separate address in the us (1) in 1 Arbor Circle, Doyle's town, PA 18901 (2) 2614 Hazelwood Drive, Raleigh, NC 27608. He e-mail's complete instruction to wire or money gram the "freight" money to a bank in GHANA attention to Mr. Awudu Salu, or to a Mr. Elijah Sackey (also in GHANA) in money gram. I got one of these from Troy Newman of Newman and Sons Ltd 891 Davis St San Francisco CA I gave him the quote, but I figured I was wasting my time. I've been getting these emails for years. Turns out that's not even a good address according to the San Francisco City Planning website. I'm having one of my friends out there walk by this week to take a picture of that block and see what's there. I think it's actually a parking lot.He wanted 14 drums of industrial strength cleaner degreaser sent to South Africa. I initially told him we only ship overseas if orders are pre-paid via wire transfer to our bank and that we handle no paperwork related to overseas shipment on top of that. He ignored all that. I eventually just stopped replying. Total waste of time.

Just received an email today form a Mark Morrison. It smells of a scam, so I checked on line to see what I could find.
