They called saying they were upstart loans and I was qualified, sent a loan agreement and requested I pay $200 for loan insurance to cover if I were to default before they would deposit my loan. I did research first and they are pretending to be Upstart Loans and they even use there logo. I didn't fall for their scam but came close.
They called and said I was approved for a loan and then told me to put 125.00 on eBay card so I did was supposed to add money on my card but they said I had to put 300.00 on card in order for me to get the loan took everything I had to do it said they were adding money on my card then they called back said that I had to pay taxes on moneyof 375.00 I told them I didn't have anymore money they wanted me to borrow it from someone to send them but I didn't so they took me for 425.00 dollars I have never felt so used and stupid in my life .I am on disability raising 2 of my grandsons that are only 4 years old I was trying to borrow money to get Christmas for them now they won't have a Christmas their mom is in jail and father is not around I am all they have it's going to be hard explaining why they don't get gifts.
This number called me saying they received my loan application and sent me a loan agreement then asked me for $75 fee. When I attempted to call them back no answer but they answered from my roommates number. They claim to be Upstart loans but when I called Upstart on Google they didn't have any of my information

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.

Won’t give up I never answer but they keep dialing it up. Irritating, say it’s debt collection and city says Dallas.
