CID = "INVALID NUMBER" At least the caller id is helpful, as this is an invalid number from a scammer. I picked up the phone but didn't say anything. Heard nothing but silence. After about 30 seconds the call disconnected.

Received a call from this number. The caller was female and had a thick South Asian accent. She said she was from Home Security Solutions. I ended the call.

Caller ID says INVALID NUMBER. One of many in recent days with different numbers from all over including an area code from Peru. SPAM SCAM

I got a call from 817-024-7862 at 3:55 pm on November 13, 2017. This is the second call I've gotten today from this number. The caller did not leave a message. My caller ID said, "Invalid number," whatever that is supposed to mean.This begs the question: Why would anyone use "Invalid number" as a caller ID? Don't all legitimate businesses use their real name for their caller ID? I would think so.Since this appears to be an overly aggressive caller I dialed *60 on my AT&T line to block this number. I suspect they will try to call back this evening or tomorrow. With this service from AT&T my phone does not ring and the caller gets a terse message about my not accepting their calls. It's great. I just wish you could block 100 numbers instead of just ten.

That phone number 817-024-7862. I don't know them at all. They keep calling here since 11/09/2016 (4 times that date), 11/10/2016 (6 times), 11/11/2016 none bcuz holiday Off, 11/12/2016 this morning (one time) again. They keep calling but not know who are they. I looked it up online. It could be in Texas somewhere. They need to stop HARRASSEMENTS calls at where our phone number. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS!

Criminal scum!They have called four times now.Robovoice 'Alex' says he is calling from 'American Guard' and I qualify for a home security system with a bunch of features.When you ask to be removed from their call list - the robo system hangs up.Another time I asked to speak to a human and after a delay a lady named 'Dominic' came on to expand the sales pitch. When I asked for the name of the company, she again said 'American Guard', when I asked to be removed from their call list - she hung up.This is illegal telemarketing so they are criminals. Why would I invite criminals into my home to provide security?The phone number is obviously spoofed because no U.S. exchanges start with either '0' or '1' - so the '024' is clearly fake.I do not find a valid home security company with the name 'American Guard' so the company is fake too.(There is a real American Guard Services but they provide physical security guards to businesses.)This is probably a 'lead hunter' boiler room that sets appointments and then sells them to local home security businesses.But why would I use a local business that employs criminal lead-hunters?

Started receiving calls from this number just prior to the election on November 8th. CID appeared as Name Unavailable. I didn't block the number initially because I was getting many calls from recorded messages telling me to vote for various initiatives. Elections are over and I was still getting calls, twice a day from this number. They never leave a message. Bill is correct about the 024 exchange #. If you search for this number it will show up as not being a valid number. Now the number is blocked as well a the entire area code 817, I have no friends or relatives in North Texas area.
