Verizon was very helpful when we received these unwanted text mesages. I just asked them to block all text messaging because we don't use it. They did. When we needed to send a picture from a phone to our e-mail, they turned on the text message service just long enough to send that one picture message, and then they turned text messaging right back off. The charge was 25 cents to send that one picture.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
What good does it do to report a number on this site. Do they do something or just provide a site for us to vent?I received a call on my cell, did not recognize the number so I did not answer it.
4/4/12 12:56pm. political survey and receive a two day cruise to the Bahamas. Press #1 to talk to them or #9 to be removed from list. yeah sure. Will let you know if that works. At least on this one after I pressed 9 it said I would be permanently removed from their list.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
