they just ran up bills on my credit card of about $800 that i aam now trying to reclaim. dont do it. Credit Card scam. I just blocked my account. They've gone shopping for TV's.
Bobby with Synter Research Group called and left a message that I owed DHL Express for a shipment to Dubai. I checked this site + checked that Synter was a real company. I returned the call and left a rude message. Bobby called the next morning and left another message. I checked my accounts. The charge had indeed not gone through and I did indeed owe DHL money. In the process of resolving the issue I called Bobby 2 more times and was always able to reach him. Bobby was always polite.2 issues: (1) DHL screwed up and did not contact me directly. (2) I will pay DHL directly because I have no clear evidence or document that establishes an obligation between me and Synter.
Just got the infamous letter in the mail saying I owe 31.50 in relation to a UPS International package...sent two packages international in the past year only via USPS and in my personal name not my business name...Morons...I believe what they grabbed up was info on an international shipment I received but it was via DHL. Is the law gona stop em ever?
I am a former employee of Synter Resource Group- it is a debt collection agency for freight companies such as Yellow Transportation, Roadway Express, UPS, DHL, etc. Most of the debts are because the party that is using these transportation companies fill out the bill of laden incorrectly causing billing errors. When the bill of lading is filled out incorrectly it can cause special discounts for their customers to be applied and different freight classification charges. If DHL has a customer with a contract- their bill will be at a discounted rate- as if the bill of laden is filled out incorrectly the DHL client's customer gets charged at standard freight rates which is much higher than DHL's customers rates. It is a legimate debt collection agency. You can get in touch with your sales manager with the freight company-they generally can fix the issue(I used to hate dealing with the sales manager= less money for me to collect). If you have an account that fell into collections with Synter- most of the time they can discount it so it can be paid. Sending the payment directly to the freight company will also be beneficial to the Synter as well- the freight companies will send Synter the payment and the collector will still get credit for collecting the debt. Many of former accounts were paid directly through the freight company which boosted my collection rates greatly. Either way whether you pay with the freight company or Synter the account will show being paid and the collector will get credit. The owner of Synter Resource is named Reggie Mcaskill and the vice president of the company is named John Church- their company address used to be 2430 Mall Dr. Ste 210 Charleston, SC however they moved to somewhere on Rivers ave in North Charleston.
When your cell phone charges you do you just not pay? No you probably do research and call them rather than just believing the internet. If you are one that received a bill from Synter - call them hit option zero and ask for a supervisor or owner and they will advise why they are calling or sending notices. If then you feel the bill is not owed you advise them of that so they can explain what to do. If you don't resolve you will continue to get calls. The best thing is to ask what the bill is for and ask for proof. They have copies of invoices and back up documents that they can send you.
That message above was left by the Synter scammers themselves, can't you tell. They emailed me about a bill they claim I owe to DHL on a shipment to Korea. I've never shipped anything to Korea in my life. If they contact you report them immediately.
One good thing: We don't have any more cut & paste comments from "Constipation". I go with rule #1. Company 'b' says I owe company 'a' money, but I should pay company 'b'. Not a chance. I call company 'a' and ask them. Remember years ago when they used to send fake bills to large companies? Years ago, some (some) companies would just pay it, & not check. Here we are 2014. Same old, same old. As always: ask for proof in writing & then do your due diligence.
If you are receiving messages or emails and have not called to validate the alleged debt, how can they know if you are disputing the invoice if you do not communicate with them. To blindly assume this agency is a scam is to err on assumption, this is a licensed company that does business with multi-billion dollar companies. I recommend calling them if you dispute your debt, that is the only way your issue will be resolved.
Do you not know what a "carrier" is? It is the freight carrier that Synter works for. You can call that carrier directly - UPS, FEDEX, DHL, South Eastern Freight Lines, Ryder, ETC. If you get a bill that you don't believe is yours then call the carrier to confirm if Synter is valid. The documents Synter has is provided by the carrier themselves. With signatures on who signed for the pick up and delivery. So they do have supporting documents that they can send you.
AAANNNDDD..guess we know where you work, yeah? The only way the issue will be resolved is for this supposedly licensed company that does business with multi-billion dollar companies do leave their full name, and a phone number that can be verified. Oh, yeah; they'd only do that if they were a legitimate licensed company that does business with multi-billion dollar companies.Since now anyone who looks up the phone number will find this website and these comments, your cover is blow. It's time to either do the job right or get another Magic Jack hookup.
