Ironically, David Hampton is the name of a famous con artist from the 1980's that inspired a film. Coincidence? I think not! This is a fake name, no doubt. The guy is a con artist. Don't fall for it.

David Hampton threating to call local sherrifs Dept. I work at said local Sherrifs department total scam. Traced call to 2316 Delaware Ave. Buffalo NY. Probably an abandoned business.

I see this fellow gets around. I got a call this morning about the same thing everyone else is saying. I know it's a scam, so I'm really not worried about it.

Same as everyone else, I am not sure why our Government lets this happen, we work hard for what we get, and this is just unnerving...

David Hampton called me and my parents this morning stating that I had some serious charges against me in Kansas and that I would be extradited from my current state. He left me two voicemails before I could call him back. One of the voicemails stated Kansas. One of them said Texas. I called the sheriff's dept. NO warrant. They told me it was a scam. This unsavory individual made it a point to call me back twice after I had told him to never call me or my parents again, to try and shame me. I will be reporting him to any and everyone.

Pretty much the same story as everyone else. David Hartman from American Elite was extremely rude and threatening, first to my son, and then to me. He was screaming at me saying that my son was rude to him and all he was doing was trying to keep my son out of jail. He said if I didn’t assist, he was going to call the local Sherrif Dept. who going to my son’s place of employment to arrest him this morning. He said it was a ten year old unpaid debt for $300 and that I need to take care of it. He had all of our personal information, ssn, phones, email... I thought it was weird that he kept telling me all this personal info about us when I didn’t ask or question his story. I have since looked up this scam and will be ignoring his calls going forward. What a nasty piece of work he is. Hey, Mr Hartman or whatever your real name is, I’m sure you read these posts - you are a scummy POS. I hope you have a miserable life, and when it’s over, you can explain to your maker how you wasted it all lying and scamming people. I’d be a bit nervous if I were you....
