They called my cell twice today, any information on them yet?

Had been calling twice a day

It was bell Aliant confirming an appointment . The system will call until you answer which is why it's called you twice with out leaving a voice mail :)

I got a call from this number today. I certainly don't have any appointment set up with them that I know of. We did have a call from a salesman a couple weeks ago purporting that our service should be changed, and just to call to confirm. Which is a bit pushy. They also have salespeople in my immediate area going door to door to sell fiber op from time to time. Who even does that anymore? It's getting to be pretty annoying. I bet dollars to donuts there is some sort of appointment set up for fiber op I don't know about from their salesman. This is getting ridiculous. :(

And now two more calls from their 866-425-4268 number, on a Saturday no less. I'm getting distinctly crankier.

They called again after I posted, too.Thanks very much for the info. :) Bell Aliant is my phone company and they do have a call screen option for 9.95 per month, but they themselves are the worst nagging callers by far.

Legitimate BellAliant call confirming an appointment

It may not be Bell confirming an appointment. I received such a call the other day on my mobile. It was an automated service I had to press a few numbers to get to a person, they asked for personal information, I gave my home phone number and said as you can see I already have internet cable...and the line went dead. So I would suspect it is some form of scam, most likely phishing. I just noticed this unknown number came up on my phone again so I googled it and landed here.

I received a phone call from this as well and confirmed with the sales person who signed me up for the Fiber op. Its legitimate BellAliant number.
