Its a spam number. They were going to higher me as a nanny don't give any information! It sounded to good to be true and it was. Wife says she is in england because her mom past away. I didn't get a call from the number. It was the number I was given.

Calling claiming to be PSEG and planning on shutting off electricity if payment isn't made

they stole 900 hundred from me

Received a call telling me they were going to shut off my electricity for non-payment. Did not sound legitimate, he transferred me to collection department and when he asked me for my CC number I realized it was a scam.Hung up

Told me my company had 25 minutes to make a payment or our power would be shut off. I told him we had three electric meters and asked which one would be shut off. He said the "whole building" would be shut off, which was the first giveaway that he was lying. (We have two separate accounts. Late payment on one wouldn’t affect the other.)Called back the 845 phone number after grabbing my electric bills. I told the guy (it was the same Latino-sounding guy who’d originally called me, "Mike Lorenzo" with ID# "ML1977") that I wanted to make a payment and needed to know which account it would be credited against. He gave me the "last four digits" (which matched none of my account numbers) and when I asked for an account number in full he said he didn’t have that information on his screen. I said he obviously had to have my full account numbers, in order for my payments to be credited properly! He grew increasingly hostile from here on, lecturing me about how my business was about to lose its power. Soon he hung up on me.I think I’m going to start calling his phone in the middle of the night. :-)

Claimed he was from DTE and they were in route to shut off the power to my business if I didn't pay over the phone via credit card or check. Asked for an actual bill to be emailed to me from the company and he hung up.

Same guy called me today. Asked for his supervisor and he put me on hold. It was the same guy trying to use a different accent. With a dog barking in the background.

Same thing with me said I owed 1500 to my business con ed bill. I called him back to ask him what company he was from. He said his name was Scott would not give me any other information. He was very nasty.

They called to Virginia this time claiming to be from Dominion Virginia Power and sad that we had 30 mins to pay our bill of 1500.00 I asked them for the date of last payment. He said it was a different department and he was just trying to help me not get my power get cut off. I asked him for the amount due and he said 1500.00 I told him that was not the amount of our last bill and to find another victim. Please beware everyone.

They called to North Dakota this time claiming to be from MDU and said that we had 30 mins to pay our bill and they were on their way to shut it off. You also can not even understand what they are saying hardly because the accent is so bad/heavy.Scammers trying to get your money!!!!!!!!!!!!Please beware everyone.
