They called my business and claimed that there would be someone from Edison Electric company coming to my place of business in the next 30 mins to disconnect due to non Payment, I knew this was not true so I answered the man by saying " Okay.... See you then!! then I waited for his response, he asked me what I said then I repeated myself. He then hung up! We get these kind of calls all the time. When I called the number back it was not an electrical company.

Sounded like an Indian with bad English. Said they were from XCEL and that they sent a technician to cut the power because I hadn't paid my bills. When I told them I never missed a bill, they tried asking when I paid and if I could give them my check number. I said I don't know and he hung up. I tried calling him again, but he hung up again right after he picked it up. Total scam.

They called our business today and this is the second time they calling, first time they told me they have been scheduled to shut off our electric today unless I call ConEd to make the payment, then he said he can give me the number, so I got the number he gave me, but good thing I checked online first what the ConEd number is, so I called ConEd official number saying I never been set up for electric shut off. So I know its a scam. Today I got another call saying that they will shut off our electric in 45 mins, I asked them if they are scam, then they hang up. lol
