Gives a recorded message about Medicare benefits and help with getting them if you have diabetes, etc.It does give you a menu selection after their message to press 1 to talk or 3 to be taken off their calling list, ya sure!I pressed 1 to get info on this quack operation. Got a male saying his name was Alex and telling me they could help in getting Medicare benefits for me or my family. I kept asking where the firm was located and he stated it was in Fairfax, VA twice. I asked why my Caller ID indicated "D REPUBLIC CALL". He brushed that off. I asked how and why he was supposedly offering to help get Medicare benefits when they are free and easily obtained anywhere in the USA. He mumbled some pointless responses including that the company was a "research group" and finally hung up. Please report calls like this to your local Police Dept., esp if they have a fraud or seniors fraud officer and/or your state Attorney General's office. Please put out a warning to all to avoid these scam artists
Received 3 calls from this number today, no message left. When I tried to call it back I get a recording that the number is no longer in service. Reverse look-up shows Patricia Swanson, Rollingstone, MN. Very annoying.
I keep getting calls but they hang up if I answer. Seems really strange. I finally just blocked the number. Since the call comes from te Dom. Republic, they are exempt from Do Not Call
Just received another call from this #. Have received numerous calls & reported them all. No message left. Am on the DNC list. Very annoying!
They called me, said it was American Senior's Service. I asked them if they had a website, they said no. I asked if they had a phone number, they said they could not receive incoming calls. I said it doesn't sound legitimate, so remove me from your list. My number has do-not-call for both Massachusetts and Federal, it doesn't seem to help, and there does not seem to be much recourse. Is there any way to sue these people in small claims court for violating the do not call list?
I think the best way to handle these types of calls is to have caller ID and just don't answer if you don't recognize the name or number on the ID! I figure if it's important they'll leave a voice mail.
Received a call from this number, said name not found on my caller ID. First time our phone was dead.... good for us huh? Second time they didn't respond when we put them on speaker. No attempt to get information but I wouldn't give it out anyway.
