Calls very early in the morning and just rings once

Recieved this call at 12:06 this afternoon on 11-06-12, of course no one answered.

Got the same call just now. Put the number on my reject list in my cell phone. 11.5.12

This is a SCAM. It was on the internet and from AARP. They are trying to rip off Senior Citizens. I get calls from them all the time while at work, see them coming in through my email. Don't answer calls from this number.

Caller ID showed "D Republic Call"They hung up after 3 rings before my answering machine would pick up.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 849-963-4853 THEY DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE BUT IT IS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY. THEY GAVE UP TRYING TO TELL ME THEY WERE FROM U S DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION. I KNOW THE USDT AND STATE DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION DOES NOT TAKE SURVEYS. ALSO--NEITHER DOES MEDICARE BUT THEN I AM NOT THAT OLD. GUESS THE JOKE IS ON THEM. HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 65 FOR MEDICARE. I AM ALSO ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. THESE PEOPLE CAN'T READ, SPEAK OR UNDERSTAND ENGLISH.

so what does keeping them on the line do? I am on the Do Not Call list, that is a waste of time, I have also called AT&Ts number to report these calls, and blocked them. AT&T can do nothing, blocking them does nothing, they just go to the next extension. So like I said, what does keeping them on the line one minute do?

RECEIVED 849 CALL 11 DEC 2012, 3 RINGS ONLY AND STOPPED WITH NO MESSAGE. RECOVERED NUMBER VIA " LAST NUMBER THAT CALLED", ( *69). FIRST TIME RECEIVED THIS.

I have been reporting these Credit Card Services for way over five years to them, and they have not stopped it yet, and if they cannot do it, then send them home and keep the money we or the taxpayers are paying them.

Just received a robo call from this number - 849-963-4853 - Name Not Found - on my caller ID - saying they had information from Medicare any senior in the house suffering from diabetes or any senior in the house regarding Medicare - press 1 to talk to rep and press 2 to remove my number from their list. I pressed 2 and got a male rep with an unknown accent. I told him to remove my number from his list. He asked if this was the "_______" (my last name!) house and I reiterated that I had pressed #2 and demanded that he remove my number from his list. He claimed that it would be removed. I believe that like I believe in the tooth fairy! NOT!
