A female called my cell @ 12.03pm today asking for references for Betty Chandler. Stating she had given my name as a reference. I don't know anyone by this name.
Got a voicemail call from a female looking for a man that owed them money. Called her back but this could mean that they have gotten you to exchange data and have used this tactic to compromise your phone.
None of this is conspiracy, people. Standard old debt collection. The do not call registry does not protect you from debt collection calls, only telemarketing. If you want to be added as a do not call, ANSWER the phone and explain that you want a do not call flag marked on your number.
Several calls a week looking for a relative who supposedly gave my name as a reference but will not give the reason for the call. The individual who they are looking for denies any association with this number and I wish to have these calls stopped.
