My card company fraud called me and I called them back. "Lyft" was putting charges on my card every couple of minutes. While we were talking the agent saw several charges coming in and immediately canceled the card. My last legitimate purchase had been at an Orlando airport store.
I just received a charge on my Credit card from LYFT as well. What's going on here!?!?
I have 10 charges from this Lyft company and I have never used them or been to San Francisco! I called my bank and they were supposed to stop the payment and return my money to my account... Well they failed and some [***] got my money! I do believe I'm calling the better business bureau on Lyft. This is crazy how someone can do this! It look as it happens alot! I'd say it's one of the drivers stealing ppl info! I'm beyond pissed. They locked my debit card and now I can get to MY MONEY! UGH
Just Sunday night May 28th around midnight 5 charges using my debit card to my bank account. 4 where LYFT*RIDE SUN,and 1 was to the Shake Shack in Pennsylvania. I live two states away. Plus I have never used LYFT I have let my bank handle it because I just got a new debit card with a chip embedded in it. Funny it didn't work????
I've had charges on my Mastercard to this number. I have never used Lyft. Obviously this is a case of fraud.
Was charged $25 for Lyft rides in CA. But jokes on them! Suckers. I only had $25 on my card left, so they were declined multiple other times. Pieces of crap.
This guy also got me. Ordered a bunch of lyft rides, some uber, simplemobile prepaid sim cards, a lot of food, etc. In total over $800.Citi disputed the charges, and also sent me the response from Lyft. The account belongs to someone calling themselves "Jas Cree" and taking a lot of rides to Encinal Ave, Sacramento.I hope they get this [***].
Wow--can't believe whoever is doing this is still getting away with it after all this time. I just received my credit card bill for June of 2017 and there are two charges from Lyft in San Francisco associated with this number that are definitely not mine. I called the number and, surprisingly, it does go to the main Lyft office, but you can't actually talk to a person, they just refer you to their website. Luckily American Express is taking care of the charges, but Lyft really needs to put a stop to this as it is evident that people are getting away with stealing credit card numbers. Guess I'm going back to using Uber rather than Lyft in the future!
