Pre-recorded messages were left on answering machines, ranging from lowering credit card interest rates, extended vehicle warranties, and the desperate need to "deliver federal documents, or they will be returned to sender". It is a valid callback number, so put it in your autodialer, and have fun. Often the scammers on the other end will claim to be FBI, the sheriffs department, a 911 operator, or just spew obscenities. Another excellent callback number is 775-434-1048. Have fun, at the expense of "NRP & Assocaites".

They asked for all.my personal.info but couldn't tell.me anything it was about.

Just received a call from this number looking for a "person of interest" and the name of the person they were looking for. Since I wasn't the person they were looking for, I deleted the message.

just got a call from this number for someone else. Never heard of the "person of interest"....yes I just deleted the message.

Mine was to An Ashley saying how she had wanted info on a certain topic and to reply or decisions will be made with out you.

This number 855-325-9118 keeps calling and they have no information when questioned. It's a scam, google the number and report that they keep calling and harassing.

A company,collection agency or law office cannot sue unless they have a license to practice law in the state you reside; where they would have to file and serve you. These parties calling from New York have no legal jurisdiction over you. Department of Education on the other hand will snatch your paycheck and they don't have to serve you cause they are the government.

I received a call saying I was a "person of interest" so after reading the rest of the comments here, I was very prepared as to what to expect. Ms. Green answered the phone and gave me all kinds of details about my life. She stated that she was collecting on a payday loan from 2007 that had not been paid back. I asked her for the original creditor's address and phone number and she fumbled around giving me an address that is at least 70 miles from where I live. I told her that I would contact the company directly and she stated that she would forward it onto the court for a default judgement and hung up on me. I refused to allow her to end the conversation that way so I preceeded to call her back. She sent 4 of my calls to voicemail and answered on my 5th call at which point I let her know that if she was going to be so rude as to hang up then she could go ahead and forward whatever to whoever as I do not have a job and I am receiving Social Security Disability because I'm currently fighting Stage 3 Breast cancer. I also informed her if there would happen to be a judgement against me, that SSD cannot be garnished because to private debt. The federal government is the only entity that has the power to garnish my benefits. She literally sat quiet and said nothing. At that point I told her to have a blessed day and hung up.
