Sent me a text saying my reservation is confirmed?? WTF

Bill showed up on credit card that I didn't purchase

Debit showing this phone number appeared on my bank account. Not recognizing charge, called this number. Computer answered stating that if I did not recognize a charge to my bank account, supply the last six digits of the card involved in charge. Did so, and computer immediately acknowledged giving date of charge and stating credit would be issued immediately. No information on firm making charge. Bank credited my bank account. Next day, PayPal credited my bank account. Still no information on identity of firm originally involved in debit. Must contact bank to return credit bank gave me.

Exact same thing happened to me. I reported this fraudulent transaction to bank and they're sending me a new card. Don't wait for a credit from this shady mystery company. Report immediately. More fraudulent transactions will probably follow while you wait.

Robo scam! I called my credit card company and they stated it's a computer generated charge. They locked my card and are issueing a new one.

Looked at my online checking account/debit card account today and there was a charge for $19.90 that I didn't make! It did list this 855 phone number as part of the charge. I Googled the phone number and saw these postings and that's pretty much what happened to me. I called the number and it's recorded messages only. First thing was: Do you recognize this charge? If no push 1 on your phone. If you want to talk to a rep push 2, if you want to leave a message push 3. The message never says who it is, where it is, or what it is! Sure enough if you enter the last six didgets of your card number the amount of the charge was repeated and asks if you want it refunded. Then I tried to talk to a rep at this number and nobody ever answers. Then left a message asking for a return call. Guess what? Nobody called me back. My bank said the charge was made in Florida....I'm not in Florida. Someone on these postings lists this number as a TimeShare company with an address in California. The address is a UPS store in a strip mall...wow! Called my bank and had my card frozen and cancelled.......new card in a week.

Like others reporting here, I received a charge to my checking acct. via my debit card for $14.85, with this phone # and "VIP SSD HOST". Have never heard of this company, no clue how they got my information. Shut the card down immediately and reported the incident to my bank and the FTC as well.
