I let the call go to voicemail and the message was as follows: Caller claimed to be Evelyn with State Farm (not my insurance company) letting me know that the (non-existent) claim on my (non-existent) Subaru was being processed but the vehicle rental would expire on the 21st (today is the 16th) at which point I stopped listening to the message, deleted it, blocked the number, and came here to report.

This is the claims dept phone number for State Farm Insurance. If you think it is a scam you may want to consider that in the days of cell phones you may have a number that once belonged to someone else that may have used it as their primary contact number for their insurance. Not everything is a scam.

I did file a claim with State Farm for recent hail damage which occurred on 05/08/2017. I received a call from this number but did not answer it as I did not recognize the number. A voicemail message was left in which they requested I call them back regarding the claim I filed with State Farm. This is a legitimate number and company. I suppose it is still possible for someone to spoof this phone number for scam purposes.

I just filed my claim as well for the hail damage we just had and was suspicious. The guy was asking about my 4Runner (that I do not own) - the claim was for my camper, that is why I came here. Maybe he was just confused - he said someone would be out to take a look in the next 5 days - seems legit.

Did not answer this call to my cell, but they DID leave a voice message. This is a legit State Farm claims department phone number calling in regards to a hail damage claim my husband initiated. They attempted to get an answer at our home and my husband's cell before they called me (my number is also listed on our multi-policy).

I received what I figured was a scam email message from State Farm, my insurance company indicating they were processing a claim that I never made. Fortunately we opened the email using Lennox to avoid any windows related viruses. The message indicated I should call the above number to further process the claim. Since I am not calling the number, I don't know what the scam is, but beware.

I thought that this was a telemarketing call so I didn't answer it. Turned out that is was State Farm in reference to a recent Hail Damage Claim that I had made.

This is a legitimate number for the claims department at State Farm. I had filed a claim and they were calling me back.
