Been receiving calls since Aug. 21. First said Harris and Harris and asked for address verification. Told them if they were "legit" they already had it. Now they call and no one is on other end. Gonna block the calls from now on. Am also on the do not call registry.
Scammers don't care about the DNC. This caller is a Fraud debt collector. If he werea real debt collector the DNC does not apply. This caller falls into both categories. Scammer & Fraud debt collector.
DNC Registry doesn't apply if this is a debt collector and being a fraud debt collector that makes him a scammer, and scammers don't give a hoot who is on the DNC.
I just received a call and they left a message to call them. I looked them up on here and saw that it looked like a scam as I have not received any late bills. They give you specific times to call and all is Eastern Time.
They called…left message starting with, "We are debt collectors….." I tried to pick up the call, but it was a recording and no one clicked on. We don't owe anything to anyone.
Received a message from them. Called back and the lady was really nice. I was really vague and just said I received a message about a debt you are trying to collect and wanted to look into it. I was not going to give them my name or any identifying info about myself. She verified my phone number and city from their caller ID I'm sure. Then asked if I knew of a Phillip Hoop. I said I do not and she said they were sorry about that and they would remove our number. Easy. Hopefully I won't hear from them again.
Robocall claiming to be someone called Harris and Harris debt collectors.Seem to be scammers, since I have no outstanding debt subject to collection.
Continually receive calls from this number, starting they are debt collectors. For giggles, I waited for someone to come on the line, but they hung up on me after 30 seconds.Really suspicious, really annoying.

Won’t give up I never answer but they keep dialing it up. Irritating, say it’s debt collection and city says Dallas.
