Have received a call from this number every day for the past week. Today (9/5/12) I called the number back. It's some political voice pack thingamajig (don't know, don't care). I did not finish listening to the automated spiel, I just hit the #1 hoping to reach a human. I did. I asked to have my number removed from their call list. The person I spoke with was very polite and verified my number, said she would add my number to their "Do Not Call" list and that it would be processed immediately. Took me all of a minute to do. Now I wait to see if that took care of it...(p.s. I checked the website that this call belongs to. They aren't even affiliated with a candidate! Here is their description:"Paid for by Restore America's Voice PAC . Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee. Restore America's Voice PAC does not make contributions to candidates. Funds raised by Restore America's Voice PAC will only be used for independent expenditures in support of or opposition to candidates. Restore America's Voice PAC is permitted to accept contributions from individuals and corporations in any amount, provided that contributions from foreign nationals lacking permanent resident status and contributions from federal contractors may not be accepted. Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
