DNC does not apply to political calls. Period.What [***] politician would even sign into law anything that says he can't call you asking for money/support?

Do not fill out any surveys. That will just tag you as an easy mark. Just ignore this crap and keep a sense of humor.Surveys are a method of data mining. If you want to give your opinions on something worthwhile, go to your city council meetings and deal with things that could truly affect your life.

Survey research. Asked me questions about # of use in the household depending on earnt salary. Made me very uncomfortable.

Internet sites suggest this is political garbage. Let the answering machine answer and they hang up.

Scammers. Don't answer, hang up, don't call them back they can see through your blocked number. Add them to your blocked number list or contact your communication provider for "free" Manual Call Rejection" service.

I have been getting from 2 to 5 phone calls daily (morning and evening) the last couple of weeks from this number. On the caller ID it says "Research Center". My answering machine picks up and all I hear is noise and background chatter, then they hang up.

Called left no message.

I'd like them to please stop calling me... I've got like 10 dang called in 3 days.......... its annoying.

I believe some survey companies have a loophole as do charities and political campaigns. Do not call just stops the legitimate people who want to sell you something. Doesn't stop the scammers either because they don't give a damn about the DNC list they're breaking the law anyway.

Got a call from this number today (11/18/2015) at around 7 PM Mountain Time. Caller ID was "RESEARCH CENTER 1-858-401-7167". Anytime I don't recognize the number, I always let it roll thru to voice mail. They didn't leave any message; so it's a safe assumption that it was no one I know or want to talk to. I've now added their number to my Call Block List.
