You misunderstand the DNC list. It is for sales basically. Political calls, surveys and charities can still legally call. However, most legit places, like charities will take you off thier list, if you asked. The trouble being, of course, you have to answer the phone and talk to someone, thereby taking the chance the call is not a legit company but an overseas scam.

Daily repeated calls from this number. No message left on am or voice mail, relentless telemarketer time wasters.

Got a call from this number at 7:28 PM on April 6, 2017 with the Caller ID saying: "Research Center". Woman explained she is conducting a telephone survey about the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority. When she learned that I had not used the Metro at any time during the last 30 days, she thanked me for my time and hung up.

Tired of calls from this number, every day, i never answer

Four calls in last three days. Friday @ 7:16pm, Saturday 12:32pm and 5:04pm and again Sunday at 12:32pm. FINALLY got someone to speak to me. He asked for me by name. Told him he was speaking to her and that I wanted them to take my name off their list. He got all rude saying he didn't understand. I told him to stop calling me, it's not that difficult to understand. He said "but listen to me! you don't even know what I'm calling about!" Told him I didn't care. He then said he was calling on behalf of Humana and asked if I was still a member of theirs. I told him I was not and he hung up. I do have Humana insurance through work and immediately tried to call them to lodge a complaint.. Their office hours are M-F from 8-5. So this guy really expects me to believe they asked him to call me AFTER they were closed? I think they just didn't want people confirming with Humana and finding out they are not affiliated. I'm mad this guy has my info and if Humana did share it, I'm canceling my policy with them. But I seriously suspect this is a scam. Why would such a random company be asked to contact the members of a health insurance company?

The moment I unblocked my number, this one called. Some bullsh%t research thing.

This number called the office yesterday after hours. They apparently listened to our answering machine because we had a message consisting of a few seconds of silence before they hung up--an abandoned call.For those mentioning the DNC list, surveys are one of the exemptions. However, I dislike phone surveys, so I tell these companies whenever they call that I don't do surveys over the phone and ask them to remove my number from their list.

didnt pick up. blocked this number which is a function on the iphone, just hit information, scroll to bottom, and block the number. easy peasy!

Multiple phone calls (3) in less than 30 minutes. I can hear someone typing on a keyboard in the background, but they do not say anything.

Call received on cell phone (I'm on DNC list) at 5:30 pm today. Only a few people have my number. The caller from CA USA went straight to voicemail that says "You've reached nobody. If you leave a message, nobody will call you." The only message they left was "Click". Then I blocked the number. I gave up 2 months ago fighting these guys and now it's payback time and I'm having fun in the process!
