"Keiko" called from "Research Center" (San Diego area code) claiming to be doing a survey and asked me to participate. I asked "Keiko" where she was calling from since she had a Japanese accent. She replied, "Texas", I said she couldn't be calling from Texas because area code was from San Diego, CA. Anyway, she avoided the answer (could have been a language barrier), and began with the survey questions. The first being about whether healthcare in my state, in my opinion, had improved from last year. Second question was what ethnicity I am, and the third question was whether I was under or over age 25. "Keiko" said I had to be over 25 to participate in the survey. (I don't quite understand that.) Anyway, hoping to avoid further calls from this "Research Center", I informed caller I was under 25. I'm curious what this call is really about. Keiko was very polite. Heavy boiler room activity in background. This "Research Center has called me numerous times in the past week.

People who keep calling like this should be put in jail. They are a royal pain in the butt

Called twice last week on August 30th at 11:57am and on August 25th at 3:07pm. I did not answer and no message was left on both occasions

Frequent calls at various times of the day and night, including weekends. Never leaves a messsge. Very frustrating.

EVERY DAY I GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 858401-7167 AT MY HOME IVE CONTACKED EVERY ONE I KNOW EVEN TOLD PHONE COMPANY -NO HELP ------CAN ANY ONE HELP

When I answered the phone, a man asked for me BY NAME. I tried to ask him how he got my name and number, but call was disconnected before I could finish the question. Caller ID says RESEARCH CENTER.

I got the call, name was research center; I didn't answer; when my message switched on they hung up. Why does these places keep calling? does anyone actually answer them?

Got this call too. Was out at the time. Caller ID says research center. Since I 'm a minister, next time I'm going to ask then if they know Jesus. Can't hurt. :)
