to my query, "Who's calling?" the response was "on behalf of save the children." Have gotten the same response from other numbers. I hang up immediately, before the spiel is launched.

I called back, prefixing *67 so my phone number would not be seen. The recording says that this is a national company that specializes in making calls for legitimate charities. Offered the option of leaving my number so I would not be called again. I didn't trust that, so I did not leave my number.

Nuisance call. Person doesn't say anything and eventually hangs up.

Dumb me!!! I don't pick up calls saying out of area, but just on the off-chance I did. No answer for a few seconds, but then a man asked for me by my full name. But when I said I couldn't hear him and he was talking too fast (said it at least three times) I guess the computer got smart and said he would call me back. Gee, thanks!!

Scammer called at night.

Been getting a lot of calls from this corrupt fundraiser using different spoofed numbers. This time I had a good time hitting them up for money. After some of their time got wasted, they hung up.

got called Jan. 17th. Didn't answer them, they left no message.

Missed call. No message. Unfamiliar #.

Looks like they are using this number again from past comments. Never answered, blocked & deleted it from phone. Haven't had any calls for a couple days.
