Caller ID says "unknown name". Left no message.

Looks like this charity scammer MDS Communications is calling again based on comments here. They called yesterday from 877 291-1624 and never left a message in either call. According to www.syracuse.com, this number spoofing scammer pockets more than half the money they take in from begging for various causes. Don't give them any money or information.

Same happened to me as to spammerslammer: MDS Communications called earlier, and now another call, this time from San Diego, CA. Stop the madness!!!!!!

Caller ID: SAN DIEGO CAThe scammer did not leave a message on our answering machine.Our numbers are in the Do-Not-Call Registry.

Called back & a message said it is MDS communications a national fund raiser; Their web site lists clients one of which is the RNC so I suspect they are fund raising for them in this case.

I did not pick up the phone; this is just one of too many unwanted phone calls.

This number was on my missed call list. I called it and it was a restricted number. When in doubt spam it out!

Just received a call from this number which I did not answer since I only pick up calls I recognize. I am in Oregon and the caller ID read "San Diego CA"

just called said something unintelligible when I said person sought was not available and may i take a message. The said that the call was something or other the Center of Law of Justice and they would try again next week. This may be a legitimate call as I am politically active, so they may legitimately have my information. Did have the call center sound behind it - hustle and bustle of people talking. Just not sure.
