Got a call yesterday from this number saying they were St. Jude, which I give to. They wanted me to donate w credit card and when I said my check was already written out they stated they would send me an envelope to mail my check in. I defintely think this is a scam.

These people are scammers.They call mostly people who are over 65 years old. They make a claim that you owe money from an old bill.These scammers will use many different company names.You can report these F*ckers all you want to the Feds, but the Feds REFUSE to investigate any of them. The federal government is your enemy. Time to shut them down.

I just got a call from them. Didn't answer and they hung up when my ans. machine came on. Feb 28 at 11:10am

Just got a call from them. I picked up the received but didn't answer. No reply from the other end - just a click off after about 20 seconds.

Just got a call from this number at 8:25 PM CST but I didn't pick it up as it is not a familiar number. Glad I didn't waste my time. Kind of late for such shenanigans IMO

Called me 5 times in 10 seconds. I called back and they answered CityTeam Ministries and had my name. I have donated to CityTeam many times in the past several years. I hung up and went on with life.

9:50AM EST - Just got a call. Did not answer. Since I gave to Heifer Int'l, I assume it was them. I think Heifer is great, but I'll decide when to give.

I also received a call from this number. I also do I not answer #s I don't recognize. I am on the do not call list but also pay for an unlisted #

Another scammer--thanks to all you folks who wanted government takover of everything. This is how bad the do not call and reporting system of FTC works...these folks take advantage of the elderly

The "Do Not Call List" is more like a "Do Call List". I think when you put your number on the list, you just give it to unscrupulious people. If I had it to do over, that is one list I would not be on. I got a call from this same # today. It's strange that people are saying several different companies & organizations are using this number. It might be O.K. if it was Food For the Hungary,or Habitat for Humanity, but I hope they are using known phone numbers .I'd say no one should trust these calls and just don't answer them. Unfortunately, everyone needs caller id now days.
