At 12:31 today 8-29-17 received a call and caller ID showed Aetna 860 273-0123. Didn't answer because this household doesn't have business with Aetna! No message left on answering machine, so can't be important or it is another so called scam.
Just called on Saturday morning. Why would Aetna be making any calls on Saturday.Also, I have no business with them.Most likely a spoofed number and a scam. I did not answer. No voice mail left.
The caller ID said Aetna, they left no message so obviously was not important, if it was Aetna or not I don't care, I am NOT calling them back.
Foreign woman caller said it was a courtesy call from Aetna asking for information about a doctor that works at our hospital but they gave the wrong address, when I told her it was the wrong address and that I couldn't verify anything she got frustrated so I hung up on her dumb foreign self.I cant stand foreigners.
I have received several calls from this number over the past week or so, and they never leave a message. I see all the prior comments, saying it is a legit Aenta call checking up on its members, but I have *never* been associated with Aetna. Makes me wonder about the comments claiming it is a legit call.
Called and left message on my cell# which they don't have. I called Aetna and was told it wasn't them so it appears to be another scam. I tried calling 860-273-0123 and a recording said it was an outgoing line only. Just another way of trying to get ppl's info. Reported to FTC and Feds
caller id said "aetna" as well; a woman asked for me by name; then said she wanted to discuss some benefits of my aetna plan; then asked me to verify my name, address & dob; told her i wouldn't give it to her; she then said she'd send me a letter and hung up. obviously a scam
