needs reference

Called numerous times on my cell phone but i never picked up. Voicemail messages were always silent if left one. First time a live person left me a message asking for "Christina Nguyen" with a reference no. and asked to call back "Chuck". Called this number back and asked for "Chuck". The person on the other line asked for an extension which "Chuck" did not provide. Told them i was not the person they are looking for. Provided them with the reference no. and they claim that they will take my number off.

i just got a call from my father, who lives 12 hrs north from me, said that they have called a dozen times looking for me, 3 different names were given as to who i should ask for when i call back, saying it was an urgent matter and to use a reference number they provided. the funny part is if its bell, i havent used bell since i lived in ontario 3 years ago, and no longer go by the last name they asked for as i am married now.

Toujours pareil, on telephone avant 9hAM, c est un message enregistre en anglais qui nous demande d attendre que qqun veule bien nous parler et si je ne reponds pas, c est un message silencieux sur le repondeur. Apres m etre renseignee, c est une facon illegale de proceder. Une cie doit s identifier obligtoirement et ne pas laisser de message blanc et surtout, ne pas contacter les gens par messages enregistrer. Bref, ca sent l arnaque a plein nez. Il existe un moyen de faire cesser ces appels, il faut s inscrire sur la liste de personnes a ne plus contacter sur www.the-cma.org Si on continue de vous appeler, vous pourrez entreprendre des poursuites.

Thank you so much for that info they have been calling us for the last year and a half accusing us of owing them over 8000 dollars but we are not the people they are looking for and we have told them this over a hundred times already!!!

Has called us consistantly from roughly July 2006 till present, most recently today January 22, 2008. Insists that we are another family who owe 8000 dollars, we have told them over and over again that we are not that family but they are not disuaded and continue to call at all hours without identifying themselves and continuing to say that we owe this money.

Left a message that a call back was "required" from my husband, they identified him with the wrong first name but the correct first letter and left a reference #. We've been getting calls from this number for months and we just ignore it, but the message is new. It's getting a little creepy..

I've received several calls "stating urgent matter" please call by 4:00pm today. If it's so urgent, why not leave more details. Thankfully, smart enough to search the number, and found this site...will not be getting a call from me.

They called me at 7:20am, before I was even awake!Thank goodness I check this site before I answer 1-866 numbers or I might have had a very unhappy morning!

Have been getting calls from this outfit -- sometimes with a different number -- for about three weeks. Always, a computerized voice starts out "please hold". Today, there was a voicemail message consisting of a couple of minutes of this, then a real person who sounded puzzled. I called them back threatening legal action if they didn't back off, and got into game-playing with a female functionary, who claimed not to know what my number I was. If they have the technology to call out like this, surely they have caller ID. Told them to back off or I would take action. Not a pleasant conversation.
