I don't think this is actually Chase. I am getting calls from a number in San Antonio Texas, 1-210-520-1454. When I search for this number online it is registered to a private person in San Antonio. They leave messages asking me to call Chase at 866-252-5777. I looked up the main Chase customer service number, which is 877-242-7372 and called them instead. I don't have any accounts at Chase Bank -- no credit cards, no mortgage, nothing. I confirmed with them that I do not have any accounts, as I was concerned that someone had opened an account in my name. Nothing in their files. I have a strong suspicion that the Texas phone number is a scammer and they are running the scam from the 800 number to make it seem more legitimate. Creeps.
Receive a very professional call every few days from Chase about some debt. We have never had a Chase account or card and they won't give enough info to validate anything. I am treating this as a scam.
They sent me a letter with this number to settle a credit card account with them. My balance was $545 and they wanted to settle for $57. I am very suspicious of this.
Call the number on back of your cc. I did, and the letter is legit.
I called another number from Chase and asked to be transferred to their collections department. They gave me the same settlement offer that was in the letter, so it seems that it really was from Chase.
I received a letter offering to settle. I believe it is legit. First it had Chase's ink logo & return address. Second, when I looked back in my records, the address that it gave to send payment to, if I accepted the offer is the SAME EXACT address that I sent my credit card payment to. Third, when I entered the website address given, chase.com/ink, it took right to their site. I'm STILL going to call them, to make sure, because I do want to pay this bill & get everything squared away.

Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.

Call came up as Prison/Jail Little Chute, WI; Green Bay Correctional Center. Don’t know anyone in jail or prison.
I think this is a scam. Got the same email as several others from Expedia, saying hotel reservation was cancelled and to contact them at this number. My Expedia account says nothing about the cancellation, and still say everything is a go. I ... read more

Shoplc. I don’t mind them calling if I have a problem but they called me 3 times in past 3 days to fill out survey they emailed. If I wanted to fill it out, I would have, I don’t need calls, plus I did fill one out but am still getting calls.

Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
Says it’s Amazon and charged my banking account fraudulently. Amazon has no record of my transaction.
