Called my house at 8:45 AM this morning and has called before. Who are these guys?

Called many times at my cell phone. Never answer. Who are these guys? Leaves message indicating call 'them' back as they have made several attempts to reach me,(that`s true) and that it is an urgent matter.

keeps calling leaving message as they have tried MANY times and an urgent matter, when i called back they asked for someone else and i told them they had wrong number and they said they "WOULD NOT REMOVE THE NUMBER"

same as everyone else on this sight. they call saying they have left serveral messages (which they haven't). I am afraid to call back because it is long distance and don't need charges to my phone.

It's credit Bureau of Canada Collections.

These people are calling me as well and everyday I receive call in the morning asking to call back as they say they have left several mesages...etc... I don't know who the heck are they? any body knows about this phone 1 866 270 0235 number ?

ITS COLLECTIONS AND THEY CALL ENOUGH TO BE ILLEGAL

I just received a call from the Canadian Bureau of Credit and Collections from this number. This guy said that he needed me to call him ASAP because he has good news about something they sent in the mail. Made it sound like a sweepstakes or something. All I had to do was call back and give them the account number he left in the voice mail. Honest collectors? Sorry but if you're going to lie to get people to call in, you're not exactly trustworthy or a company I'd want to deal with. I've had issues with a student loan and was ripped off my a debt collection agency ARC who took my money and didn't put it towards the debt owed, so no, I'm not dealing with them or companies like them. I'm going to deal with the source. Lindsay is correct in that there are ways people end up owing money, but there are places out there that give people like her a bad name. There are people like that on both sides... collectors who just want to get what they can from people and people who just won't own up to responsibilities. There are good ones too on both sides, but an instant red flag for me is lying right off the hop in a voice mail. Be honest and let the chips fall where they may...

This is just one of those run of the mill scumbag collection companies. They have been calling me for over 9 years and I have never answered or returned any of their stupid calls. There is nothing they can do, theycan't sue you, garnishee anything so anyone out there that feels intimidated by them just let them keep calling and waste their time. If they really wanted to start legal action, you would have already been served with notice. If you owe money to anyone, and who doesn't, and the collection agencies are calling, get this (Bell Canada calls it "Call Answer Message Manager") on your phone so you can see who is calling and listen to the person leaving the message on your voicemail. If you want to pick up on the call just press the "Link" or "Flash" button an you will then be connected to the caller (could be a friend so or someone other than a bill collector calling, maybe even someone calling about a job). If you don't want to add this feature, make sure you at least have Caller ID so you can, in most cases, see the number of the caller and look it up on Google after.Good luck fellow deadbeats!

I received a call from 1-866-270-0235.This caller states they are "The Canadian Credit Bureau" but their calls are clearly documented as coming from the United States via Call Display.I have informed the Police Department.Do Not Give Any Form of Information over the Phone.Do Not Give Your Name.
