Got calls from that number saying my Apple ID changed ?! Called back and just got an automatic message asking to enter a 5 code digits .... the answer from my phone company is I'd have to pay $6 to block certain numbers to call us. Great.
I received an email out of the blue in my junk mail from Apple but it asked for credit card info when I clicked the from address there was no address I screen shot it invade & then late last night I got a call I sent to voice mail saying my Apple ID RECOVERY was ok now. The problem is the web page they told me to go to doesn't match anything for Apple & I didn't have an issue with my ID am I being paranoid? or should I just call Apple myself to see if there is am issue? Ty all
There were 2 Apple ID Verification Codes texted first, then a call from 866-275-3866. I did not answer then a voicemail left saying "Thank you, Good bye". Weird !
This number is an Apple's one. It called me last day for two-steps auth., in France. So don't worry, it's not a fake.
Ok I got a call and I answer it it told me to enter a code so I did thinking it was apple and they needed the verification code and all I got in response was heavy breathing
I think this is part of a phishing scam. They send a fake text form Apple claiming its a security pin, then call you to ask for your account info. Beware!

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
