This company has been calling a week now every day while I've been at work and harrassing my family. I don't let things go long before dealing with them. It seems every time I get back, they have stories of the company that won't stop calling, being overtly rude and hanging up with seemingly no way of getting a hold of anyone later. I have had 1 problem in the past with a music company shipping cds out long after I've requested they stop. I have no outstanding debt and none is listed on my credit report so this is ludicrous.I will be faxing them a letter tomorrow demanding they cease calling me to end this crazyness. Does anyone know if I can also request what company and reason/claim/bill started all this anyway? I would like to know so that if in fact I am in breach of something I can deal with them instead of this crap.

Annette Smith called and said she had been trying to reach me. She called my office phone # and left a message. I would never list that number on an order for anything. I did not call her back. It was the first time she called.

calls and lets ring 5 times then no one there when answer. calls numerous times. my number is a business number. it gets to be annoying after a while

I've been recieving a call from this number twice a day for about two months, since I've moved into my first home. It's always from an Annette Smith, though I cannot find any record of the number other then here. Is this a possible scam?

i too, go through periods of time where i get calls from these people. to clarify- i'm recently divorced and lost my job. at one point i had to live on my credit cards and even used them to get retrained into a new line of work. i knew, going in, that doing this was very risky. but it was either that or end up living on the streets. long story, short- i'm in so much debt that there is no way i can begin to climb back out. under the circumstances, these calls amount to little more than harassment. the only resolution available to me is to ignore them completely. bottom line, if you don't engage them in "conversation", they will eventually stop calling, be sure that any information you give them will be used to against you. and although they always threaten legal action, i have never been taken to court.

Called them back, turns out someone had given them a false number to call, as they didn't even have MY name. I told the lady to take my number out of the system because I have no debts. The lady had a very thick NY accent. The business address listed by the guy above me is probably correct.

I got a phone call from 866-281-4135 three times within 10mins. First the phone rang two times, then hung up. After the third time, I too got an automated message about if this is... press 1 if not press 2... then it hung up. It didn't even state a phone number to call back at. After the message, so far I haven't received anymore this morning.How does this happen? I just got a brand new phone number with Vonage and they don't list in any directory or whitepages. I don't get it.Is there anyway to make these calls stop? I can't yet block phone numbers with Vonage but you can bet when they activate that program, this is the first number I'm blocking.

This number keeps calling my CELL phone. Always a recording that is chopped off at the beginning and then a reference number of some kind at the end.

I call them back and advise them that they are making annoying calls and that I've advised the police and that they have been warned. If I continue to receive calls the sherriff will press charges against them. The calls always end. Don't give then your real name. It has worked three times so far.
