I blocked this number and now it is calling me from a private number, which my cheap phone can't block. They keep leaving messages for another person stating they have "legal documents" which is obviously a scam.

These callers refuse to stop calling me, even though I asked them to stop, and they searched my number in a “database,” and discovered I’m not “Lori,” who they’re trying to serve papers to. Some loudmouth Jerry Springer type got really angry when I pointed that out, for the eighteenth time, and started yelling, then hung up on me. It always sounds like their calling from their home phones, and completely bizarre and unprofessional. I’ve already filed a complaint with the FTC. If it continues, I’ll file a police report, and talk to my AG.

Called both my wife and I and claimed they were looking for Lori. Claimed we had to be present to accept the documents (not true, they can't force you to be present) They also claimed they'd come to my work (or Lori's I guess) and that a manager had to be present at that point (also not remotely true)

This lady called my phone stating about some legal documents needed to be signed. Didn’t know my name it’s a scam

Caller claimed I would be served papers tomorrow. He didn’t know my name, and called me “Lori.” He also called my husband and called him “Lori.” He didn’t know my address. He hung up on me at one point, and became belligerent when I questioned why he called me if he didn’t know my name, and why he gave warnings that he would serve papers. I think if the conversation went on he would’ve tried to extort money from me

The first call was July 20, 2013 at which time I asked them to stop calling.
