THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION!

They called (an automated recorder message) I picked up the phone and the said that my account with the city has been changed. I hung the phone up because, I don't have an account with the City in which I live. I knew right then, they were lying and trying to run a scam.

I am getting a calls from 866-680-8628 every day. I do not know what is the company owns this phone number, but they do not leave message. I am going to block this phone number.

I have citi cards and I've been late paying a couple of times. Citi always shows up on the caller id and they always leave a message.I've been called by this number day and night for a long time. I don't answer.

This is legit. I didn't answer calls, but I called 800# on my statement to check with Citi. They reported a late payment which I verified through my bank (didn't go through). I was glad I checked this website first, then called my credit card through another 800#.

It is not a debt collector it in fact is a scam!!! They told me my acct was past due with Citi Bank yadda yadda yadda and I called the number on the back of my credit card turns out they never called me and that was the only acct. i have with citi...therefore watch out with this number it is a scam!

This # is legit, however I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize it. I did a # search first. Finding out that it could be from Citi, I checked my statement and called their 800#. Turns out my autopay through my bank didn't go through so Citi had not received payment on time. First time in 30 years.My advice is to verify if there is a problem with a credit card payment by calling Citi's 800# directly (on the back of your credit card or on your statement).

I got this call and called back on the back-of-the-credit-card number as recommended above. It was legit as I was transferred to their department. Turns out I was a few days late on a Home Depot payment and they were following up. It is legitimate however I would definately always call you card number rather than the number provided to be safe :)
