I received a call from 1 866 701 1700 recording and called ssi and they told me it was a scam they send letters or call for reporting of the payee reports only do not give them any information they are bounty hunters

8667011700 is to solicit if you want to work or not. The SSA told me if they want more information they will contact me by mail to go into the SSA office it is services that are ran by a agency that can help people on SSDI you can work under the law if it is 30 hours or under a week. It is okay to work for like a food market like bagging goceries if you are under the limit it can't be 35 hours or they take dollar for dollar. I am bipolar with traces of schizophrenia and i was told a dr needs to sign you off to work fully recovered under the ssa law. If you do not receive paper work in the mail then it is not legit. The office who called is only a agency and can support you while you are working but at this stage for all who is collecting ssa it is not reguired for you to get the ticket to work program there is no laws saying you have to collect that program they called because the medicare system gave your number to them is all. They do random calls once a year normally around the spring time to collect information from you to see if you got to go back to work but conducting business threw this agency is risky because things done with out ssa approval can lead to suppension of beneifits. I had to go back to work so i took a part time job and i was okay threw that. It is only if you want to work full time. they call to collect information brieb you with a 1200 dollar check to kick you office that is a settlement check is all you need to actually go to the ssa office with paper work not with a call anyone can call you so try not to get bent out of shape over it people just delete the calls if the papers come in the mail then head down to the local ssa office and conduct business that way. You need to have a certified state worker to look and see. If you sign up for services you are not required for future payments will be taken away and you will owe thousands back to ssa. you need to stop and calm your self before a decision is made that you will forefit you disability.the take charge is only a ticket to work agency that is ran by medicare not ssa. that is mistaken by everyone that is reading this medicare controls your medical portion they are the ones who gave the numbers to the agencies that want or will help you. gl.

i understand i got a us treasures check foe 452.00$ but got a call saying i owe 12,000.00$ for 3 months please fix my taxes if you can ???

well after looking at it you the benificiary on ssi and making over 700 and making under 940 per month you qualify you only benifit for 9 months you get a total of 3500.00 then after they drop you for going over 940.00 ,for working while drawing your check, after ssi drops you for making more than 940.00 a month , you lose all benifits then they pay you 152.00 per month for 60 months [ yeah right ],lets put a pencil to it example ; lets say you make 900.00 per month on ssi only then you make 700.00 per month at the lumber yard, thats 19200.00 per yr now thier plan is that 9 mnths + 3500.00 + your ben. for 9 mnths prorated is 11600.0 then the 152.00 month kicks in for 3 mnths is 456.00 thats the grand total of 12056.00 for that year only then next year its only 1824.00 for the year, then what? i wonder how much the get for you? why not stay on disability until your thru? its a scam.

ps one more point is the reason that ssi supports it is this plan garuntees that you will be dropped from ssi thus one less greedy body off ssi if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck its a scam

glad to see from these posts that I should be wary about stuff like this. I got half a message on ans. machine and the caller id read Take Charge. Needless to say I never returned the call.

why all of sudden I am getting a call in regards to this,I sent in papers when I first got on ssi so what is this all abot sounds fishy to me,
