I received a call from this number but did not answer.I dialed the number back today (05/25/2010) and it is the National Rifle Association.I'm a Life Endowment member, probably a call for donation or some offer.Other numbers they use (I verified to be the National Rifle Association):888-483-8328888-484-7594
It is too the National Rifle Association. Something about an opinion poll relative to a proposal issued by the United Nations regarding a gun ban. Though I appreciate the effert, todays NRA is about as effective as the rudder on the Titanic.

I have this number blocked on my telephone...but after reading the message above that stated you could be removed from the number, I gave it a try. I listened through the message and at the end, you can press 3 to be removed. Will see how well that works. I can block up to 20 numbers, and there is a never ending list of numbers to be added. Anytime I can one off my list...I can add another one to it.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
