I did not receive a call from this number but in September of this year, I began getting unauthorized charges to my credit card through Amazon for purchases I did not make. I am still trying to sort this out with my credit card company.Most of these charges are for books, but the charges began with a "standard purchase" from Amazon with the above phone number listed. If you catch them, send them my way. I would very much like to see them arrested. They sure cost me money before we caught what was going on!!

In sept we had a fraudulent charge of $50 under the name "Eric Jankowski" with that number.

ooops!! We were wrong. Further investigation shows that the number is a legit amazon.com number and the charge, while mysterious, turned out to be an indirect payment to another party that we hadn't realized was going through amazon. Therefore, not a fraud, just a confusion.

Again not a call, but a bogus payment through my credit card. The number appeared as a reference. I haven't called that number yet as I balk at making international calls.

This number was listed on my credit card statement from a company I didn't recognize. When I came to this site, I read something that caused me to realize what I had purchased! As was mentioned earlier, this charge was due to a 2nd party purchase made through Amazon and, therefore, is not spam. When you buy something at Amazon, make sure you remember you may have purchased it through them from another person/business and your payment goes through and names them instead of Amazon. Then the number shows up on your statement.BTW, 800notes, when I post this, there is no category under your CALL TYPE selection that offers me the chance to choose "litigimate business." Please note and make a change! I made this post because this number actually IS ligitimate!

This is a credit card payment processed through Amazon for a third party, e.g. Kickstarter

I had no call, but had an unauthorized charge for a $100.00 gift card linked to this Amazon number. Here is how it appeared: ASI*BMAGIFT 866-749-7545 WA. An e-mail message indicated that a Birthday card sent the same day had been sent by my husband, who is deceased and who never used my credit card, as I am the only one approved to use it. The Birthday card was picked up by someone who is unknown to me, and no one else has access to this computer. This blog helped me, as I was reluctant to call until I learned that it was a legitimate Amazon number. I called Amazon to dispute. I called my credit card company to dispute. I cancelled an unauthorized Blue Mountain membership and I was forced to cancel my card with all that entails - still calling.

I thought I had a fraudulant charge from this billing source ASIBMA GIFT (Amazon third party billing agent) because it was a charge to a credit card I don't use anymore, but when I called that number 866-749-7545, they did some research and told me that the charge had gone through BLUEMOUNTAIN.COM. Then I realized that it was a gift card I had bought for my son trhough the Bluemountain card service. I guess that they had that credit card as the default card in my account.V9W7

I received a charge for $250 that I did not make that had ASI*KICKSTARTER COM 866-749-7545 WAI also had to cancel my credit card and am waiting for a new one.
