I got the same call from this number telling me to go to a Td branch to change my card or to call them back.......It was so suspicious, i call TD directly, and a representative told me that they believed my card may have been duplicate.......

Not a scam. Call the number on your TD card ASAP!! I feel sorry for the people who do not call back!

Not a scam. I came here to check the number 866 808 7090 only to read about TD and sure enough today my ATM card came up canceled when I tried to use it. So I called the number on the back of the card. My card may have been copied so they canceled it. 866-808-7090 is legit.

I also thought it was suspicious but it was TD calling. My card had been duplicated and someone tried to withdraw $500 -- it did not go through but I have to head to the bank in the morning and get a new card.If you do not want to call the number back, call the TD number on the back of your access card and they will put you through to fraud protection

This is NOT a scam! I called the number back, after making sure it's a real number, to find out what has happened. They seem to have copied my acces card. Thank god I trusted this number, went directly to my TD branche to get a new card.

Legitimate call. My TD access card had three incorrect attempts to enter the PIN number. Have to get a new access card number.

TD calling to confirm I made a withdrawal last night. They didnt ask for any personal info just asked if the X amount that was withdrawn was in fact done by me.

Does TD bank put checks through twice?

I got the same calls with the same information you are all giving above.This scam artist just fell into the wrong hands!I happen to be a computer/telephone expert that just got peeve off and an investigation is underway to track this criminal/s down. With the joint venture, we should be able to apprehend, charge and prosecute them very soon.They have been operating since 2002 with this Scam & this Phone number . Do not call back if this happens to you. TD canada trust, Phone Busters, Bell Canada, our Internet Security Corp, etc are all collaborating to trace and put an end to these crooks behind bars.

I GOT this exact same call.They told me to press '1' if it was really me.And so i did, but i hung up after because I thought it was a fraudBUT IT IS NOT A FRAUD.It is actually TD's Fraud Detection, i called them back and they told me that at some place i shopped within the last 3weeks and i used my access card, there was some technology in the debit machine that copies your card, and a COPY OF MY ACCESS CARD was made, but luckily the representative told me that the person was not able to get my PIN, which was why my activity log seemed normal. Eitherways, they cancelled my card and i need a new one now, but im glad im safe.They said it is usually not the store owners, but loiters at the store who stand over shoulders and watch.SO IT IS REAL AND CALL THE NUMBER BACK.
