They left a message saying it was Scotiabank calling for an important banking matter, but the lady was greatly fumbling over her words and had to correct herself because she gave the wrong number twice over that one message.... Not too sure about this one.

Personal banking matter.Spoke directly with Scotia Bank. My account is and always is up to date. The man on the other end was rude. When asked to have my name and number removed,I was told the calls will continue.

Calls many times daily, sometimes leaves urgent message, wants digital confirmation of who belongs to the (called) telephone number. Have blocked the number but in a few days another number starts the cycle again. Web reports caller is in California.

This is definitely a SCAM.

Got the call on Tuesday, April 11 @ 1:55 pm. No message left. Thought it's kind of scam.

There is just total silence and then a hangup. This happens every 20 minutes. There is another number that does this also and I found through a search it was scotiabank. This can not be legal?

If Scotiabank wanted to contact me about something, then they have a local branch that can call and talk to me. I don't even bank with them so they can just f off
